Mystic Frontier

Score a familiar deck's dice total. Each familiar contributes exactly one Frontier Potential line (separate from its ordinary 2-line combat potential), gated by that familiar's rarity — plus whatever dice bonuses an expedition run has handed you so far.

A familiar lineup worth aiming for

The lineup is the only part of this you actually choose ahead of time. The dice bonuses that turn a good lineup into a huge score come from expedition scenario rewards as you play a run — see the section below — not from anything you equip beforehand.

  • 3 Unique familiars, all sharing one element (any element works — Fire shown here), each with the line "If all Familiars on your active lineup have the same element, Dice Total: +3, Final Multiplier: +1.4x".
  • Not the individually flashiest tier of this line (a +1.8x version exists and scores higher alone) — this one wins once you stack three, and has the better floor too.
  • A single multiplier line barely matters on its own — one copy of this exact line takes the average roll from ~10.5 to only ~18.9. All three copies together, sharing one element, is what turns it into 81.5: go all-in on multiplier lines across the whole lineup, or skip them and take flat dice-total lines instead. A lineup with one multiplier line and two flat ones wastes the multiplier.

Dice bonuses earned this expedition

Not a loadout you pick beforehand — these are handed out round by round from expedition scenarios as you play, roughly rare/epic-tier on average. Log what you actually received here to score a real run, the same way the Star Force calculator lets you enter a roll you actually got rather than simulating one.
